While I was putting these together, I thought how cool it would be for Mom to have her own cards. You know the scenario. I know the calendar says it’s Spring, but the weather doesn’t seem to have a calendar. It’s the third week of April and today had a high of 48 degrees!! Lots of cold rain and wind, too. Ick. Makes me really glad I scheduled this year’s home school session indoors! Here are the 15 cuties I photographed today. They were so much fun!

I first saw Emilio 6 months ago when he was 3 months old. We did his newborn session then because he was born 3 months early. He was cute then, but now he’s just irresistable!  Just look at those eyes! I could just get lost in them!

I just love these two as a set.

The year is almost over! One of my favorite little things about this time of year is the availability of my favorite candy. I start looking for it in October. This yummy stuff made by Ghirardelli is just divine! It has little bits of peppermint (that’s candy cane for those who don’t know) in it. I just love the burst of mint mixed with chocolate! I think I need to go get one right now.

Another thing about the end of the year is that the next year is about to start. Like many businesses, I will be raising prices at the first of the year. However, if you schedule a session and pay your deposit before January 1, you can enjoy 2008 pricing, even if your session actually takes place in 2009!

Yes, my youngest son does have two hands. The sleeves were too long. It’s hard to catch those things when you’re in front of the camera rather than behind. Also, my middle daughter does smile…on occassion. She was mad because I made her wear that white shirt. This picture was ok. I was happy with it then. But, as I grow in my photography, I begin to see things that bother me about old pictures. I decided it would be too hard to get a full group picture the way I wanted it. Plus, we’ve moved and I don’t have the giant windows available to me now that I did then. So, I decided to do three smaller group shots. Here are the results:

This one, I’ll admit, I had a little help with. I set everything up, then had my oldest daughter push the button.

While I wasn’t up for using the timer for a full family shot, I did get one of all the kids together.

Then of course, I had to create a Christmas Card with my beautiful children on it to send to family. Here are the front and inside of the card:
