I don’t usually enter my photos into challenges or contests, but I happened to come across the theme for this week’s challenge, From a Distance, and I immediately thought of Katie’s picture. I’ve never entered into this website’s photo contest before, but this week the theme is Celebrating Teens. Since my favorite thing to photograph is teens, I thought I just had to enter this time. I hope I even do it right!

This is a photo of my own teen with her boyfriend. They are so sweet together. They’ve been involved in a long distance relationship for 2 years and at this point, are planning to get married in a year or two (the one or two will depend on who has the stronger will, I think, him or her). I know a lot of people scoff at young love, but since these two make Jesus a primary focus of their relationship, if they want it to work, it will. I have no doubt about that.
