Referrals
In a business like photography, success can be attributed completely to you, my client. I know this and I want you to know that I know it. Telling your friends and family about me is the best thanks I can receive from you. In return, I want to thank you for sending folks my way. I have two ways to do this. Cash in your pocket is always a good thing! For every referral you send me, I will give you, in cash, 10% of their print purchase. However, for an even better deal, you can receive 25% of their print purchase in print credits for your next session. Referral cards will be included with your portrait purchase.
Large Purchase Bonus
I’m a gift giver. It’s my love language. I want to give you a gift for making a large purchase from me. You can visit my boutique page for samples of the following gifts:
$500 to $999 — mini-album of images from your session; calendar
$1000 to $1499 — Snaptotes photobag
$1500 to $1999 — Kimbra photo jewelry
$2000 and up — choose any two boutique items!
Giving Back
I have been given this ability to take pictures. I think it’s important for gifts like this to be used to help people. I am a participating photographer in two charitable organizations. Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep provides bereavement photography to families who have lost or are losing a precious new life. My work as an RN working in OB and NICU has shown me the importance of keepsakes and closure when a baby is lost.
Breast cancer touches nearly every life. One in 8 women personally experience it. This means that we all at least know or are even related to someone who has gone through this. For me, it’s my husband’s grandmother. Thankfully, she beat the cancer and is still alive and kicking at the ripe old age of 98. Sadly, this now shows history for my daughters, and increases the chances that they will deal with this themselves. Think Pink is a great organization that takes portraits of women who are dealing with breast cancer during treatment and up to one year after being declared cancer free. I am proud to be able to provide this service to women who are fighting this long and difficult battle.
In addition to these two organizations, I have donated portrait sessions and packages to various charity auctions, including The Crisis Pregnancy Center, La Leche League and a Susan G. Koman 3-day walker. If you are interested in receiving a donation for your charity, please email me.
What People Are Saying:
“My family just enjoyed those pics on your blog! Those are absolutely amazing! You caught all the major and minor beauty of our dear Olivia. Her lovely looking and her vivid expression on her face and in her eyes are shown incredibly delicately in your pics. And the research you’ve done also means a lot for us. We feel so luck to have your talent and we greatly appreciate…Can’t wait to see the rest of our session!” –Yuan
“The slide show left me speechless and overwhelmed with emotion – it was truly amazing. I cannot think of a better way to honor my newly born child. It brought back those exact emotions that I felt at the time – and how wonderful that we will be able to experience that over and over again! I think it is perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing! I cannot thank you enough for this experience – it means so much to my family and me” –Kate
