I’ve never entered into this website’s photo contest before, but this week the theme is Celebrating Teens. Since my favorite thing to photograph is teens, I thought I just had to enter this time. I hope I even do it right!
This is a photo of my own teen with her boyfriend. They are so sweet together. They’ve been involved in a long distance relationship for 2 years and at this point, are planning to get married in a year or two (the one or two will depend on who has the stronger will, I think, him or her). I know a lot of people scoff at young love, but since these two make Jesus a primary focus of their relationship, if they want it to work, it will. I have no doubt about that.

Stacey. I rarely enter IHF but I love them and the community! Welcome to IHF and taking your time to enter the challenge. I also often fail so miserably to comment on the previous entries after my time for my posts are up. But i am trying to be more disciplined about that. IHF so encourages commenting. I know why. I love seeing the creativity of other bloggers! What an awesome shot! I love the background, it just goes with the mood and the love these young people have for each other and Jesus. I love to read about teens who make Jesus the primary focus of the relationship! Encore!!!

I love the bright red background. My boyfriend and I have been together since we were in high school and at this point, 5 years later, we will probably be one of those success stories.
